Bluefield, WV Considers BSL

“A recent event where a pit bull attacked and killed a residents pet in Bluefield, Virginia has one group ready to do something about the growing problem.

According to Bluefield Union Mission Director Craig Hammond a group is forming to review city ordinances in Bluefield, West Virginia and take proactive approach towards protecting the children of the community by proposing new and stricter pit bull regulations.

Hammond says that pit bulls are a real problem in our area which is why this committee is important and must be formed.”

  1. It is not just the pit bulls fault. People do not take the time to understand the dog. any dog that feels threatened will attack. It’s all about who raises the dog. Some people are the same if they are raised the wrong way they will attack for no reason and keep doing it until they die. Are you going to bann people too? Im not saying what you all are doing is wrong but pitbulls were bred to be FAMILY dogs not what these people are making them. Something else needs to be thought of to save the pitbulls and keep them sweet like most are.
