Geneva, Alabama Considers “Special Pit Bull Ordinance”
September 19th, 2007 by Editor
From WTVY News 4 in Alabama:
“…The Geneva City Council may follow a national trend of municipalities adopting a special pit bull ordinance.
Geneva City Council members have received complaints of pit bull dogs running loose on the streets.”
Please contact the Geneva Mayor and City Council members via the following address and/or phone numbers and politely inform them that breed-specific legislation in any form is ineffective and unenforceable. An enforced leash law and a non-breed-specific dog law are more than adequate to police irresponsible dog owners of any breed.
