From WATE 6 in Knoxville:

“The mayor of Rockwood is trying to get pit bulls banned within city limits.

Mayor Mike Miller is drafting an ordinance to ban the breed.

…The mayor describes the ordinance as a pre-emptive measure rather than waiting until after something like a mauling happens.

…The ordinance will go before the Rockwood City Council at its meeting on January 21 at 7:00 p.m.”

Please write the Rockwood Mayor, Vice Mayor, and City Council and politely inform them that breed-specific legislation in any form is ineffective and unenforceable.  An enforced leash law and a non-breed-specific dog law are more than adequate to police irresponsible dog owners of any breed. (Please ask that snail mail and e-mail letters be forwarded to the mayor, vice mayor, and city council.):

Michael Miller is an incompitant idiot.
Pit Bulls arne’t bad, it all depends on who raises them.

If mayer Miller took the time to raise JUST ONE of these dogs he would ABSOLUTELY change his mind.

I GUARANTE HE WOULD FALL COMPLETELY IN LOVE WITH THE BREED.
especially when it’s has protected his family from an intruder.

WHAT AN idiot, anyone is to prejudice themselves against an entire breed of animal. DUMB DUMBS
