North Muskegon, Michigan to Consider “Pit Bull” Restrictions and/or Outright Ban

“During Monday’s council work session, council members could not agree on banning certain breeds such as pit bulls, and whether owners walking their pets should have a specific length of leash.

But in light of increased concerns from citizens, such as the safety of children who live or play near aggressive dogs, the council agrees that the existing ordinance needs to be amended.”
