“…Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler said the city is looking into whether Madison needs a ban on certain breeds and what other measures need to be taken to protect residents and assure their safety.
…There have been no reported cases of pit bulls attacking or biting anyone in the city. City officials say they have no idea how many pit bulls are kept as pets here.”

Please contact the Madison Mayor and City Council and politely inform them that breed-specific legislation in any form is ineffective and unenforceable.
